What is the Kansas Science Festival
The Kansas Science Festival is a nonprofit organization dedicated to making science accessible, engaging, and inspiring for communities across Kansas. Through public events, library programs, and partnerships with scientists and educators, the festival connects people with the discoveries shaping our world.
Kansas Science Festival (Manhattan, KS) - Our flagship event in Manhattan, Kansas brings the community together for a dynamic day of hands-on STEAM experiences. Featuring interactive exhibits, live demonstrations, and local experts, the festival inspires curiosity and connects thousands of attendees with the excitement of science each year.
Hays Kansas Science Festival - Held in Downtown Hays, this hands-on festival brings interactive STEAM experiences to K–12 students and their families. As a growing satellite event, it expands access to science and inspires curiosity across the region.
Bugs and Books - A fun, family-friendly event that combines storytelling with hands-on science. Through engaging read-alouds and interactive activities, young learners explore the fascinating world of insects while building curiosity and a love for learning.
